<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the required electric power for an exhaust gas treatment system with a self-heating filter. CONSTITUTION:A conductive, porous self-heating filter 3 catches the particulate being exhausted out of a diesel engine, while an engine control unit 5 as a current-energizing control means and a heater relay 6 energize this self-heating filter 3 itself, heating this filter 3 up to an ignition temperature of the particulate for incineration. Especially, since each filter block is energized in order at every specified time capable of incinerating the accumulated diesel particulate at a time when the current-inergizing control means 5, 6 regenerate the filter, the accumulated diesel particulate is incinerated at every filter block in order.</p> |
