<p>PURPOSE:To feed a separated paper sheet securely to a pair of feeding rollers provided near the downstream side of a paper feeding tray even if the paper sheets are jumped up, when the paper sheets are separated one by one by a separating claw for restricting the one corner of the sheets placed on the paper feeding tray. CONSTITUTION:A separating claw 18 for restricting the one corner of paper sheets P placed on a paper feeding tray 12 is provided and, when a paper feeding roller 17 is rotated to feed the paper sheets P, the paper sheets P are separated one by one by the separating claw 18. Also feeding rollers 20 are provided near the other corner opposite to the one corner of the paper sheets P restricted by the separating claw 18. Thus the paper sheets P are fed securely through the feeding rollers 20 since the paper sheets P are kept horizontal on the feeding roller side 20 even if they are jumped up when they are separated from each other by the separating claw 18.</p> |
