PURPOSE:To provide a waste water treating device utilizing micro-organisms capable of improving its capacity by circulating waste water not only at the upper part of a treating tank but also at the lower part, sufficiently circulating and agitating the waste water over the entire region in the tank and enhancing continuous contact of fine bubbles with a carrier. CONSTITUTION:A diffuser 2 is provided at the lower part of a waste water treating tank 1, a micro-organisms immobilizing carrier 3 is furnished to surround the diffuser 2 and to form a space between the carrier and the inner wall surface of the tank 1, the carriers 3 are vertically arranged, and the water in the tank 1 is circulated along the carrier 3 by the air injected from the diffuser 2 and aerated. Meanwhile, a margin depth h1 of about 2-3% of the depth h is preferably formed above the carrier 3. |
