<p>PURPOSE:To execute the optimum control of the looper height and tention that is adapted to the state of rolling material and operating condition by describing in controller gain using the variable in process and variable in a desired transfer function in the case the control of looper height and tension are simultaneously executed. CONSTITUTION:The speed of prime mover for driving rolling mill, moving speed of looper, tension between stands and looper height are detected with each detecting means. Control gain is expressed by variables conforming with the rolling condition and property of material. A control operating means 13 with which the command value of the speed of main engine such that the tension between stands is followed up to the command value of tension and command value of the moving speed of looper with which the looper height is followed up to the command value of looper height are calculated is provided. A speed controlling means 12 with which the speed of the prime mover is controlled so as to follow up to the command value of the speed of the main engine and looser driving controller 9 with which the moving speed of looser is controlled so as to follow up to the command value of the moving speed of looper are provided. In this way, this controller can contribute to stable operation.</p> |
