<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a damping device which can prevent reaction and stress from being generated by fixing one end of a damping element to an equipment device and a weight to the other end or connecting the other end to a weight- provided lever rod linked to the equipment device. CONSTITUTION:One end of a damping element 1 is fixed to an equipment device 2 of equipment or piping or the like and a weight 8 is fixed to the other end. Or the one end of the damping element 1 is fixed to the equipment device 2 and the other end is jounaled to a lever rod 7, linked to a mounting base 6 provided in the equipment device 2 by using a link part 5b of pin or the like, by using the link part 5b of pin or the like. The weight 8 is mounted on a point end of this lever rode 7. In this way, the weight 8, receiving no influence of earthquake vibration, has action of standing still in this spot, or receiving other forced vibration than the equipment device 2 does, obtains high damping effect.</p> |
