PURPOSE:To improve the operability of print and to automate the production by sending a recorded video information signal and a detected pattern designation index signal from a reproduction device to a video printer and sending a retrieval control signal and a status signal to the reproduction device. CONSTITUTION:A picture signal from a video camera 20 is processed by a signal processing circuit 34 of a VTR section 90. An audio signal from a microphone 31 is processed by an audio processing circuit 33. The picture signal and the audio signal are added by an adder 36 and the sum is inputted to a distributer 37. The distributer 37 sequentially selects PCM information, INDEX information, VIDEO information and gives them to heads 40a, 40b, from which the information is recorded on a tape 41. On the other hand, the picture signal inputted from an input terminal 20a is fetched by a picture memory 62 via an A/D converter 61. A video printer section 14 fetches the picture data to a buffer memory 65 and the information as to idle capacity of the memory 65 is sent to a controller 67. A selector 70 sends the picture data expanded by expanders 68,69 to a print picture section 72, in which a print picture is generated. |
