PURPOSE:To surely secure interchangeability as against a low-order machine kind which is not provided with a long sentence mode by realizing the conversion processing of the normal mode and the long sentence mode in a document preparing device having the long sentence mode. CONSTITUTION:The plural documents of a normal document unit generated by the normal mode are preserved in a floppy disk device(FDD) 5. An editing and control part 1 judges whether the formats of the respective documents called from FDD 5 are coincident or not at the time of the long mode. When judgement result is coincident, the editing and control part 1 extends the respective documents called from FDD 5 in the buffer areas 4a, 4b and 4c of a document buffer memory 4 and synthesizes them so as to generate the one document of the long sentence mode. |
