Laminating and embossing foam with textiles - uses intermediate material of foam with film on one side and textile lining on other

A laminated fabric consists of a textile layer (1) with a foam layer (2) joined to it by hot embossing with or without an intermediate synthetic film layer (1). On the other side of the foam layer (2) is a non-woven, knitted or woven material (3). The intermediate synthetic film (4) can be laminated to the foam (2) before the textile layer (1) is joined to it. A part-finished material consists of foam which has a nonwoven and/or woven material on one side and a synthetic film on the other. USE/ADVANTAGE - The construction leads to a convenient method of producing permanently embossed laminated foam material for apparel wear.
