The electromotor has an armature shaft (3). The free, rounded end (5) of the shaft is axially biased by a spring-loaded wedge 6, 7). This wedge cooperates with a counter wedge (11) fixed to the housing. The spring can be made integral with the wedge using two springs (8, 9) extending in opposite directions. The counter wedge is made integrally with the housing (40). This is made with an integral recess (46) for a bearing (47). The springs (8 9) are pref. leaf-springs. The wedge is pref. of U-shaped cross-section. ADVANTAGE - Cost for play-free positioning of armature is as low as possible. Small and light. Cross-section and length of wedge can be varied within ide range. Material has important effect.
