The invention relates to a way of interposing, in a limited amount, precious metal between a moving current-conducting blade and a common terminal. In switches (3) with pivotable blade, which pivots in a notch of a common terminal in order to conduct the current between this common terminal (1) and two other terminals (6) and (7), the bearing surface (2), on which the blade pivots, is to be lined with a precious metal, generally silver, so as to reduce the contact resistance. The invention describes various means of depositing the precious metal at the site of the pivoting without having to deposit it over the whole surface of the common terminal. <IMAGE>
