PURPOSE:To make copying efficient, to exclude a deviated picture and to improve the economy by discriminating a paper size corresponding to an original and a correct position to execute the correction of the position even when an original being an object of copying roughly onto a contact glass. CONSTITUTION:A picture processing section 203 detects an original area from a picture data by each line stored in a picture memory 203a and the size of an original 112 is discriminated. Moreover, a tilt angle of the original 112 and a center of the original 112 are detected respectively and the original 112 is rotated around the center position by the above tilt angle up to the regular position to execute position correction processing. |
