PURPOSE:To obtain a binary image, which can be automatically and easily identified, by executing the preprocessing such as black-and-white inversion and image synthesization of the binary image a protoplast. CONSTITUTION:When an image processor forms the binary image with a threshold value as a reference concerning suspension containing the protoplast, a hole is bored in a cell image like an image A, and the protoplast can not be exactly measured. In order to improve this point, an image B is formed by the black-and-white inversion. Further, an image C is prepared by turning the outside part of the image B in contact with the edge of the protoplast into white. For the image C, the hole part of the image A is turned into black as the black-and-white inverted image of the image A. When the image of synthesizing the images C and A is prepared, an image D filling the hole of the cell image is obtained. By obtaining the image D, the shape of the protoplast can be exactly identified, and the measurement can be automated. |
