PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent with excellent detergency without damaging a base resin and with no problem on environmental pollution, ordor, toxicity, etc., by incorporating specified glycol ether compd. and hydrocarbon compd. in a non-halogenic detergent. CONSTITUTION:A non-halogenic detergent contg. a mixture consisting of at least one compd. selected from among glycol ether compd. of formula I wherein R<1> is H or a 1-5C alkyl; R<2> is a 1-5C alkyl; R<3> is H or methyl; m is 1-4 and an 8-14C hydrocarbon compd. as active ingredients. A compd. of formula II wherein R<4> and R<5> are each 1-4C alkyl; n is 1-3 among the glycol ether compd. is pref. in terms of detergency and volatility. In addition, a 10-13C monoolefin, especially a 10-13C alpha-olefin is pref. because of good detergency and high flashpoint. |
