Device for dead-bait fishing. The invention relates to a device making it possible to insert a lure inside a bait in order to give the latter the appearance of being alive, thus facilitating fishing for carnivores. It consists of a stainless steel wire of 8/10 millimetre in diameter, and of about 6 centimetres in length (1) including two loops fastened to a triple hook at one of its ends (2), and of a single loop at the other end (4). The stainless steel wire (1) will have lead cast onto it in the form of a plum tomato (3), leaving the orifices (4 and 5) open to view. The user inserts a baiting needle (8) to which is attached a trace (7) and the triple hook (6), in the back of the bait, and the spring through the throat of the latter. The user then inserts the baiting needle into the orifice (4) and then into the orifice (5). Finally the user after having inserted the tomato shape (3) into the throat of the bait, sticks the needle inside the throat of the bait and withdraws it above the head of the latter. <IMAGE>
