PURPOSE:To prevent the flawing and contaminating from the outside and to lessen the pitting deterioration of a magneto-optical recording layer so as to maintain long-term reliability by using the material for optical disks contg. a specific diacrylate compd. as a protective layer. CONSTITUTION:This material for optical disks and the cured matter thereof have the constitution expressed by formula I. The diacrylate compd. (A) expressed by formula I has the constitution of formula II as a more specific example. The unsatd. group-contg. compd. (B) exclusive of the component (A) to be used for this material for optical disks is more specifically isobonyl (meth) acrylate, tetrahydrofurfuryl (meth)acrylate, etc. The use amt. of the unsatd. group-contg. compd. (B) to be used for the material for optical disks is preferably 50 to 1000 pts.wt., more particularly preferably 100 to 600 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. diacrylate compd. (A) expressed by formula I. |
