Solid compositions contain propolis components soluble in a water-soluble organic-solvent and a saccharide or cyclodextrin. The composition is used as a health food product or therapeutic agent. The composition is prepared by incorporating an aqueous solution of the organic solvent containing the propolis components with the saccharide or cyclodextrin to effect dehydration and solidification. Solvent is e.g. aqueous ethanol, acetone or methanol. |
