<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability by starting recognition by providing a recognition start button at an edge part of each character input frame of a display integrated type handwritten character recognition tablet and checking the part by a user with a pen at the time of one-character input. CONSTITUTION:The handwritten character recognition device is equipped with a ROM 1 stored with various character patterns in advance, the handwritten character recognition tablet on which characters are inputted by handwriting in a character input frame, a RAM 3 stored with a character pattern which is inputted from the handwritten character recognition tablet, and a CPU 5 which recognizes the pattern of the input character stored in the RAM 3 according to the character patterns stored in the ROM 1. Then the character recognition tablet 2 has the recognition start button for starting the recognition at a part in the character input frame.</p> |
