A drive mechanism for a lime-metering device comprises a vertical rotor shaft 1 on which radial arms 2 are disposed, which in turn support flat bars 3 projecting vertically downwards. On each arm rubber cloths 4 are disposed on one side such that they hang down and bear against the flat bars in such a way that they can be forced by water against the flat bars such that a bucket is thereby formed, whilst, when acted upon by water in the opposite direction, they can be flexibly bent aside so that the water flows past the flat bar. A rotational motion is thereby obtained whenever flowing water is present. The drive force can then be tapped, by way of crank arms in the upper end of the shaft, to actuate a lime-metering device with associated silo. <IMAGE> |
