PURPOSE: To reduce cost in configuration and operation for separating a laser gas from ambient gas at a window with a simple configuration, in a laser. CONSTITUTION: A tube-like window 5 has a volume corresponding to several times the change in laser gas volume at a pulsating operation of a laser, while being attached to a laser vertically or almost vertically with respect to a longitudinal axis line 5a of the window. In addition, an opening 5c of the window is oriented in the same direction as that of the buoyance of an ambient gas in a mixture section 5b of the window 5, formed at the pulsating operation of the laser, and a laser is supplied from a laser gas supplying part 2c, and a laser quantity 2d flowing-out through the tube-like window 5 is set so that the concentration of the ambient gas diffusing in the laser is equal to a specified threshold or below. |
