PURPOSE:To register a user point without executing complex operation. CONSTITUTION:Display data indicating plural service facilities and point coordinate data indicating the existing points of respective service facilities are previously stored in a CD-ROM, and when one of the plural service facilities displayed on a display device is specified by operation, the point coordinate data corresponding to the specified service facility are read out and registered in a RAM or the like as a user point, so that when a map is displayed on the display device, the point coordinate data registered as the user point are read out, the map point indicated by the point coordinate data can be superposed to the map by a prescribed pattern and displayed on the display device. Consequently a point such as a restaurant and a hotel required by each user can easily be checked on a map by the simple user point registering operation. |
