Surgical stitching appliance - has tubular handle and rigid needle of suitable shape for lapariscopsy

The instrument (1) may have the needle attached by means of a thread to screw it together, or may be made in one piece. The handle and needle are tubular to that the sewing thread (4) can pass into the handle (3) and then along the needle (2). The needle may be shaped in the manner of a question mark, or a corkscrew, with two and a half turns. The end is flattened (6) with a pointed reverse (5). Overall length is about 300 mm by 10 mm dia. The instrument is intended to be disposable after use. USE - Surgical applications such as lapirioscopic operation.
