<p>PURPOSE:To offer the automatic recognition controller for improving the profile precision the width direction of hoop steel which is being rolled in a continuous hot rolling plant. CONSTITUTION:The controller is provided with an X-ray thickness gage 1 being a profile measuring means, and a data processing means for executing blocking of data, filtering and waveform correction, a profile data collecting device 2, a neuro-computer 3 being a recognizing means for recognizing a profile, a learning means for leaning an error reverse propagation method, a storage means for storing rolling actual result data and rolling condition data, and a predicting means for predicting a profile of hoop steel rolled subsequently, and a control computer 11 being a preset control means. In such a way, a recognition rate of rolling control is improved, a non-linear discriminant function is realized, minimization of a prediction error is attained, the control can be executed with high precision, and a satisfactory shape is obtained extending over the whole hoop steel.</p> |
