Calcitonin conjugate or an analogous polypeptide which has substantially the same sequence of amino acids as a natural calcitonin and a biological activity of the same kind, with one or more compound(s), each containing one or more polyethylene glycol polymer(s) via a covalent bond of the said compound(s) with one or at least one free carboxyl group of calcitonin or its analogue respectively.
