The circuit for improving the picture quality of picture in picture (PIP) without increasing the capacitance of memory sect. comprises: a demodulator (1) demodulating the applied video signal; an A/ D convertor (2) converting the demodulated analog signal into the digital signal by sampling with the constant frequency; an input data latch (3) outputting the digital signal outputted from the A/D convertor; a memory part (4) storing the data outputted from the latch; a memory controller (5); an output data latch (6) outputting the data of memory sect.; a D/A convertor converting the digital signal outputted from the latch (6) into the analog signal; a modulator outputting the video signal from the D/A convertor.
