PURPOSE:To form a dielectric material composition capable of sintering at relatively low temperature and providing dense sintered compact having fine and uniform grain and simultaneously remarkably improved reliability, by adding the third component consisting of a specific metal oxide to barium titanate. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition is formed from 86.8-99.59mol% barium titanate as the first component, 0.2-5.5mol% zinc oxide as the second component, 0.01-0.7mol% one or more kind selected from iron oxide, cobalt oxide and nickel oxide as the third component and 0.2-7mol% copper oxide as forth component. When one or more kind of the following compounds are added as the forth component at amounts of 2-20mol based 100mol of the above- mentioned dielectric material composition, dielectric constant at nearly ambient temperature can be raised to about >= 9000: Barium stannate, calcium stannate, strontium stannate, lead stannate, strontium titanate, barium zirconate, calcium zirconate, strontium zirconate and lead zirconate. |
