PURPOSE:To improve the stability through the lapse of time of a photopolymerizable compound by allowing the photopolymerization starting system to contain hexa aryl bi-imidazole and sensitizing agent. CONSTITUTION:As for a photopolymerizable compound which contains the ethylenic unsaturated monomer which is polymerizable and the photopolymerization starting system, the photopolymerization starting system contains hexa aryl bi-imidazole shown by the formula I and a sensitizing agent. The hexa aryl bi-imidazole is a compound in which two imidazoles are bonded by one covalent bond, and several kinds of isomers having different bonding systems can be used. In the formula I, Ar1 is an aryl group having a halogen substitution group at o-position, and o-chlorophenyl or o-bromo-phenyl group is particularly preferable, or at least one between Ar2 and Ar3 is an aryl group which is substituted by at least one halogen atom. By introducing such a substitution group into bi-imidazole, stability can be provided, together with high sensitivity characteristic. |
