<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the selection of a connection path and to prevent permanent circulation of a signal in a communication network in which plural connection paths are selected between plural communication systems. CONSTITUTION:In the case of call setup, plural paths are used and a setup signal is subject to multiple address and sent and relayed to the paths and the signal reaches a called party. Since the called party selects one path connected actually from a reached signal, the path is easily selected and since the path through which the setup signal actually passes is selected, it is possible to automonously bypass a fault in communication systems 1-6 or links 9-15 or the like. Moreover, since an individual call identifier is given to the setup signal in the communication network, when the same setup signal is received by each of the communication systems 1-6, the setup signal already received is not relayed and permanent circulation of the setup signal is prevented.</p> |
