PURPOSE:To obtain a wire having high breakdown voltage and excellent flexibility by providing a ceramics insulating layer, made ceramics by heating, on outside an electric conductor, and an insulative ceramics fiber layer, into which an insulator made ceramics by heating is impregnated, on outside the ceramics insulating layer. CONSTITUTION:A ceramics insulating layer 2 of a metallic oxide such as SiO2, Al2O3, and ZrO2 is formed by coating a ceramics precursor, such as metallic alkoxide or metallic organic acid salt, on the outside of an electric conductor 1 such as copper to be heated. Then an insulative ceramics fiber layer 3 composed of an alumina ceramics fiber, silica ceramics fiber, and zirconia ceramics fiber etc., into which a material used in the layer 2 or water glass and silicagel, etc., are impregnated, are provided outside the layer 2. This constitution can obtain high dielectric breakdown voltage with an insulation property improved without detracting flexibility. |
