PURPOSE:To produce an inexpensively obtainable angiotensin I converting enzyme inhibiting peptide having low side effects. CONSTITUTION:An angiotensin I converting enzyme inhibiting peptide having structure of Leu-Gly-Pro-Ala-Gly-Arg is produced by separation from an extracted solution of internal organs and muscles of fish and shellfish and purification or chemically synthesized by using Fmoc-leucine, Fmoc-glycine, Fmoc-proline, Fmoc-alanine and Fmoc-arginine. Leu-Gly-Pro-Ala-Gly-Arg has angiotensin I converting enzyme inhibiting ability of IC50=1,200muM. |
