发明名称 PRODUCTION OF HOT ROLLED RAW SHEET MADE OF UNIDIRECTIONAL SILICON STEEL
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a unidirectional silicon steel sheet which is superior in various characteristics with less energy consumption by continuously casting molten steel for electric sheet of prescribed composition, and the end part of heating slab under specific conditions and performing hot rolling. CONSTITUTION:The molten steel for electric sheet contg. 1.0-4.0% Si, 0.01- 0.08% C, contg. selectively 0.03-0.15% Mn, 0.01-0.04% S, 0.01-0.05% Al, 0.004-0.01% N as forming elements of inhibitors MnS, AlN, and consisting of residual iron etc. is continuously cast. This slab is heated at the end parts in a manner that the temp. is kept below 1,200 deg.C over the entire section, and is removed from the furnace. Thence, the hot rolling is started at above 1,150 deg.C. By this method, deposits are made easier to create fine and uniform dispersion phase, and the unidirectional silicon steel sheet of good characteristics is obtained. Since heating is minimized and the heat retained in the slab is used to a maximum extent, saving of energy is achieved.
