Pivoting device for a glazed panel (3) sliding, with respect to opposing guide grooves (12) provided in the rails (10, 11) mounted along two parallel sides, generally vertical, of a window frame (2) or the like. The device includes, associated with each groove, an operating member (33) of the motor or some other sort, housed in the side of the frame and capable of actuating a hollow nut (22), immobilised in terms of translation but free in terms of rotation, exhibiting a screw threaded internal part (29) interacting with an external screw thread (32) made at the end of a transverse shaft (30), free in terms of translation but halted in terms of rotation, the said nut externally comprising a second screw threaded part (23), the thread of which has the opposite handedness from that of the internal part, interacting with a nut (24), the said nut being secured to the rail (11) so that the rotation of the nut brings about, depending on the direction, retraction of the rail into a vertical pillar of the frame, at the same time as causing the transverse shaft to project into the groove, which engages, at the end of travel, in a blind housing (20) forming a bearing, carried by the panel (3). <IMAGE> |
