PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material which is highly sensitive, and is free from color discharge through the contact between a recorded image and a chemical and further is excellent in terms of matching properties without phenomena such as sticking and head waste sticking. CONSTITUTION:A thermal color development layer based on colorless or slightly pale color-developable leuco dye and an acid substance which causes the leuco dye to develop a color thermally, is provided on a support. In addition, a protecting layer using porous polymer beads of styrene or divinylbenzene is provided on the thermal color development layer. |
