PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material which has high color development sensitivity without color shading or decoloring and also without discharge attributed to the contact between the material and a plasticizer or oil. CONSTITUTION:This thermal recording material consists of a color development layer containing a color development substance which is normally colorless or pale and a developer which develops the color of said color development material. In addition, the thermal recording material contains organic phosphate, its metal salt or basic salt expressed by formula 1 as a developer. |
