PHARMACOLOGICALLY ACTIVE alpha -AMINOETHYL-2-BENZOFURANE METHANOLS SUBSTITUTED IN POSITION 3

The present patent application concerns alpha -aminomethyl-2-benzofurane methanols substituted in position 3 of general formula (1) in which R<1> is substitued or unsubstituted lower alkyl, preferably substituted or unsubstituted arylalkyl, and R<2> and R<3> are the same or different and are independently hydrogen, branched or unbranched low-molecular alkyl (C1-C7), cycloalkyl, aryl (sic) of arylalkyl, or R<2> and R<3> together form an alkylene group, and their acid addition salts in a racemic and enantiomerpure or enantionmer-enriched form. A further objet of the present patent application are processes for making the compounds of general formula (1) in racemic and enantiomer-pure or enantiomer-enriched form and their use as pharmaceutical agents, preferably in the field of the indication of antiorrhythmics.
