PURPOSE:To provide a belt sander capable of performing a polishing process uniformly and using a device effectively. CONSTITUTION:For a belt sander where pads 11 of a number of air pressure cylinder units 10 are put down and actuated to press pressure shock absorbing bodies 12a to let the shock absorbing bodies press polishing belts 5, 8 to be applied to a work (w), support bodies 21a, 215 moved down and actuated simultaneously as the pads are moved down are provided, so the pressure shock absorbing bodies are moved down to get along the polishing belt through the support bodies. |
