A linen bleaching agent in the form of a fast dissolving tablet contains 20 - 35 % by weight sodium perborate, 10 - 25 % by weight tetraacetylethylenediamine, 5 - 20 % by weight sodium citrate and/or sodium tripolyphosphate, 1 - 15 % by weight polysaccharide and/or polyvinylpyrrolidone and 5 - 59 % by weight of additional materials for stabilisation, activation, tableting and perfuming. The given combination ensures quick dissolution of tablets allowing their use in automatic washing machines, high bleaching action, good tableting, low hygroscopicity and partial chelation of ions causing hard water. The application of bleaching tablets allows achievement of higher working ability with lower dosing of quality detergents and at lower temperatures. Alongside bleaching, disinfection of linen occurs. |
