The circuit is to minimize delay time necessary for relay station to relay or to receive optical signal using a data selecting unit and switching data. The circuit includes a data selecting unit (15) for selecting switching control data (D1) and switching control data (SD) according to selection data and for sending the selected data to an electric to optical converter (18), and a controller (13) for sending selection signal (S) to the selecting unit (15) when no switching request signal is detected from received data and for sending switching control data (SD) to the selecting unit (15) when switching request signal is detected.
