PURPOSE:To simplify adjustment and to shorten the adjustment time by providing a means to judge whether or not setting at the time of volume adjustment for setting of judgement reference for residue toner deficiency is within tolerance. CONSTITUTION:A judging means judging whether or not the setting of a reference voltage for judging of the residue toner deficiency is within the desired precision against the detected voltage when a specified capacitance is imparted. The adjustment of volume 13 determining the judgement reference of toner quantity deficiency is carried out by connecting a specified pseudo load with corrected capacitance with which judgement of residue toner deficiency can be carried out. At this time, there is a need to have the volume 13 adjusted and to make output REF of a peak hold circuit consisting of an operation amplifier 19, etc., equal to output CRG of an operation amplifier 27 by pseudo load within a certain precision. Therefore, a voltage range equivalent to tolerance precision is provided utilizing diodes 36 and 37 and resistances 30 to 35 against the CRG, and wind comparators 38 and 39 are constituted with this voltage range, and comparison with the REF is carried out. |
