PURPOSE:To improve an environmental resistance and to use a containing device as an inboard mounting type or an external cooling type as it is without replacing a setting fixture, etc., by forming the device by die casting. CONSTITUTION:A box of substantially cubic shape having one surface opened as a connecting surface and cooling ribs provided on the other outer surface, has cylinders opened at one ends with the connecting surface and protruding at the other ends having bottoms, from the ends of the ribs, at four corners thereof, and a flange provided at the periphery of the connecting surface to be integrally molded together with the ribs by die casting. A first mounting hole is formed at the bottom of the cylinder, a second mounting hole is formed at the flange, and the opening at the one end of the cylinder is closed by the connecting surface of a cover. An inboard mounting type is installed in the first hole by using a bolt, the ribs of the box and the cylinders are dropped in an opening formed at the wall of a control board, etc., and an external cooling type is installed in the second hole by using a bolt. In this case, since the opening at the one end of the cylinder is closed by the connecting surface, the atmosphere does not communicate with the interior of the control board. |
