The mouth-organ has a body (1) in which an internal channel is formed and this channel can be closed in the upward and rearward direction. The channel is enclosed by a sounding plate (2) which has an opening which is closed by two tone plates (3, 4). These tone plates are mounted one above the other with one plate closing the opening when the player blows into the mouthpiece whilst the other plate closes the opening when suction is applied to the mouthpiece. USE/ADVANTAGE - Mouth-organ which can be played by applying a relatively low pressure.
