PURPOSE:To shorten a time necessary for forming an image and the length of a recording paper necessary for one image. CONSTITUTION:A writing head 4, a register sensor 9, a developing part 5 and a cutter 7 are arranged in this order, and regist marks M, M1, M2 and the succeedings are printed on a roll paper 1 as consecutive marks at a prescribed interval (L1+L+alpha+L2). Thus, the M1 is detected, and simultaneously, the image is written, so that the L1 is shortened, and also, the succeeding mark M2 can be printed within the distance from the cutting part of the trailing edge of the roll paper to the register sensor 9 after forming the image is completed, so that the L2 is shortened and the prescribed interval can be shortened. And furthermore, this method is not a method for forming the image after developing the register mark, so that the time can be shortened. |
