A filler cap, for a liquid reservoir tank, for example, a brake master cylinder, has a deflector assembly 7 for covering an inlet 4 of the reservoir tank, and a diaphragm 6 located between the deflector assembly 7 and the cap 3. An inner cap 22 covers air passage 8 to prevent fluid leakage, and air passages in combination with the deflector assembly 7 and a slit valve 21 in the diaphragm 6 maintains atmospheric pressure within the reservoir tank. A further air passage 25 in the inner cap 22 establishes fluid communication between the atmosphere and the interior of the fuel tank. Anchorage of the cap onto the fluid tank is by means of integral legs 28 with out-turned lugs 27 formed on the deflector assembly 7, which engage in moulded anchorage recesses in the inlet 4 to the reservoir tank. <IMAGE>
