<p>PURPOSE:To calculate travel hours close to real time and to obtain the exact time without being affected by an abnormal data by deciding the central value of a data group as the travel hours at the central time of prescribed sampling time. CONSTITUTION:The number plate number of a vehicle 1 recognized by picture processing means 2 and 3 is transmitted to a data processing means 4 and when a number transmitted from a downstream point is coincident with a number transmitted from an upstream point in advance, the data of recognizing time difference between the both points is calculated. When the number of time difference data obtained within the prescribed sampling time is larger than a fixed value, these time difference data are classified into the plural groups of a prescribed value range corresponding to the values and stored. The data having the largest total number of data groups contained in a data range composed of these plural continuous groups is defined as a valid data range, and the central value contained in this valid data range is successively decided as the travel hours at the central time of the prescribed sampling time.</p> |
