The headlamp washer includes at least one nozzle (7) fixed to a nozzle-holder piston (5) mounted slidingly inside a cylinder (6). The cylinder (6) in which the nozzle-holder piston (5) is fixed rigidly to the end of a second piston (8) mounted slidingly in a second cylinder (20) secured to a part (3) of the structure of the vehicle. The axis of the second cylinder (20) is substantially horizontal, and the axes of the two cylinders (6, 20) form a non-zero angle between them. Preferably, displacement of the moving part of the headlamp washer (4) between its retracted position inside the structure of the vehicle and its position of use is obtained under the action of the pressurised washer fluid introduced into the chamber of the second cylinder (20). <IMAGE>
