Fuel injection valve for internal combustion engine - has vortex chamber to ensure thorough mixing of air and fuel
摘要
An internal combustion engine has a fuel injection valve with a valve head (8) which co-operates with a valve seat on the inlet side of the nozzle (5). The nozzle (5) leads to a vortex chamber (7B). The vortex chamber (7B) has tangential inlet passageways (7A) so that tyhe inflowing air generates a vortex in the vortex chamber (7B). This vortex causes the fuel to vaporise and then ensures a thorough mixing of air and fuel before it is injected into the engine cylinder. USE/ADVANTAGE - Fuel injection valve which ensures thorough mixture of air and fuel.
