The clutch disc in a vehicle's friction coupling consists of a hub on a gear-shaft, with a concentric disc part whose outer periphery has at least one axially sprung lining-spring (1) between two back-to-back friction lining rings. In a radial direction, the lining-springs have a smooth part for contact with the friction-lining rings, and at least one angled or curved part next to the flat part, matching the radially outer or inner part of the friction-lining rings. The radially inner parts (B2) of the curved or angled parts (B1, B2) have a greater free length than the radially outer parts (B1). The lining-springs have radial slits (5) in. ADVANTAGE - The sprung rigidity okf the lining springs is greater radially on the outside than inside so that torque is more easily transmitted; the coupling does not tend to slip; and the lining's wear is reduced.
