Plant for drying oil-contg. rolling sinter sludge, e.g. from seamless tube mfr. uses the heat of waste gases from a heating furnace (1), for heating the material to be rolled, the gas passing through a pipeline (4) contg. a shut-off valve (K5), via a mixer (7) for temp. adjustment, to the drying station (6). The station is connected to the furnace via a pipeline (10) with auxiliary fan (11) for return of oil-laden gas. ADVANTAGE - Energy balance is improved, CO2 emission is reduced.
