PURPOSE:To provide a nonreducing dielectric ceramic composition which is not reduced even if it is calcined along with a base metal such as Ni in a neutral or reducing atmosphere, high in permittivity, low in dielectric loss and having a long high-temp. load life. CONSTITUTION:When the composition formula of a polycrystal solid soln. is expressed by {Ba(1-x)CaX}A.{Ti(1-Y)Zry}B.O3+aM1+bM2+c(M3+M4), M1 is at least one kind between the compds. of Mn and Cr, M2 is an Si compd., M3 is a Dy compd., M4 is a W compd., (a), (b) and (c) expressed in terms of oxide are limited to conform to 0.05<=a<=1.0, 0.05<=b<=1.0 and 0.05<=c<=2.0 (wt.% based on the ABO3), the maximum value of M3 is 1.0wt.%, the maximum value of M4 is 1.0wt.%, 0<=x<=0.24, 0.08<=y<=0.22 and 1.000<=A/B<=1.040. |
