摘要 PURPOSE:To perform proper control even during fail of a car body slip angle detecting means, in a device to control the slip ratios of front and rear wheels based on a detecting result from the car body slip angle detecting means. CONSTITUTION:During normal operation of longitudinal speed sensor to detect a car body slip angle and a lateral speed sensor, the target slip ratios of front and rear wheels are decided at S303-S306 according to the slip angle of each wheel, but during fail, the target slip ratios are set to respective preset specified values. Especially, a front wheel slip ratio during non-brake is set at S301 to zero, and wheel torque control of front wheels is prohibited. Regarding front wheels and rear wheels during brake and rear wheels during non-brake, target slip ratios are set at S308, S309, and S311 to respective different specified values. During normal operation of a sensor, vehicle running stability is further improved than that of a conventional type, and during fail of a sensor, antiskid control and traction control are practicable as usual.
