Current supply circuit using switched regulator - has opto-coupler in pulse width modulation regulation stage and short-circuit current limitation

The supply circuit uses an optocoupler (Ok1) providing isolation within a pulse width regulation stage for the switched regulator, controlled in dependance on the current in the output circuit. The optpcoupler (Ok1) is supplied with a controlled voltage (Uh1). This is delivered by the same, or a different output circuit, incorporating an element (F1) with a resistance (F1) exhibiting a voltage drop in case of a short-circuit, which can be used as a back-up supply for the optocoupler (Ok1). Pref the latter element (F1) comprises a FET. ADVANTAGE - Provides short-circuit current limintation.
